About me

My journey into acupuncture began almost five years ago, when I was 39 and looking for a natural anti-ageing treatment. I have always been fascinated by alternative therapies and, when a friend recommended I try facial acupuncture, I was amazed by the results.

After a course of treatment, I noticed my face looked more youthful and I also felt more energised. I loved it so much, I couldn’t stop talking about it to everyone! Friends and family suggested I should retrain and pursue a career in my new-found interest.

So I researched and trained in facial acupuncture with John Tindall at the Yuan Clinic and Traditional Medicine College. John’s knowledge and training inspired me so much that I continued to study microsystems acupuncture with him and I haven’t looked back since.

My passion for acupuncture and ancient practices led me to study and gain further certification with Amanda Shayle of AcuRegen. Amanda’s treatments are widely recognised in the beauty industry and her amazing acupuncture protocols and techniques have found their way into Harvey Nichols and onto many celebrity faces.

I have learnt that facial cosmetic acupuncture is so much more than just an anti-ageing treatment – it is a healing journey. I like to think of it in these terms: if a flower doesn’t bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower.

With this in mind, I continued to develop my love for alternative therapies and studied Gua Sha Facial Fusion and Thai Herbal Poultice massage with Cecily Braden, the founder of BeautySecretsUS and one of the top facial trainers in America. Cecily’s course complimented my facial acupuncture treatments perfectly. It is a facial rejuvenation therapy, based on the traditions of East Asia and Chinese medicine, which looks at the body as a whole, stimulating and channelling the body’s healing energy to revitalise the skin, giving it a more youthful appearance.

I love what I do; I get to meet so many people who are beautiful inside and out, and I gain so much pleasure by making a difference to their health and wellbeing.
